It usually starts with a symptom.
A positive pregnancy test. A cracked nipple. A sleepless baby. A fog that won’t lift.
You come looking for a lactation consultant, a birth class, a pelvic floor physio, a doula, someone to help solve the immediate problem in front of you.
But more often than not, what you’re truly searching for, often without even knowing it, is space. Space to feel, to ask questions, to soften. Safety to be fully seen. Resonance with people who understand the depth of what you’re moving through.
That’s why The WOMB exists.
The WOMB began in 2007 as a small doula collective, founded by Lorri and Angie under the name Halton Doula Group.
As more practitioners gathered around a shared belief in compassionate, integrative care, something deeper started to take shape. In 2014, The WOMB was born, a space that would grow into a trusted sanctuary for families seeking support through fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenting.
We’ve evolved into a space of connection, belonging, and empowerment. A place where you are seen as a whole person, not just for your symptoms, and not just for your stage of life.

We’re your village.
A collaborative community of practitioners who believe that care shouldn’t be rushed, compartmentalized, or clinical. Where intuition is respected, stories are welcomed, and no part of your journey is “too much.” Where care is both evidence-based and heart-led.
Whether you’re coming through our doors for fertility support, a birth prep class, postpartum healing, parenting workshops, or just a quiet moment to yourself, you’ll be met where you are.
